How to evaluate your CAMH service

by Dr Anne Worrall-Davies

How to evaluate your CAMH serviceThe aim of this module is to provide you with the knowledge and understanding to enable you to undertake evaluation of your Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS).

The module will take you through the national policies and drivers to evaluation in CAMHS, review the differences between evaluation, audit and research, and help you consider who should be involved in CAMHS evaluation with you.

We will think about methods and measures to use, and then look at how to put together a short and medium term action plan of strategic evaluation.

All the way through there will be opportunities to use the CPD Online Notebook to make notes to yourself for future reference. The module has plenty of learning activities to enable you to learn more effectively. Practical case examples are used to give you 'real life' insight into how others have evaluated CAMHS.
