Using plug-ins

Plug-ins are programs that let you interact with images, listen to sound or watch videos. If you do not have the right plug-ins you will not be able to view our multimedia presentations. The plug-ins required for CPD Online are:

PDFs

Adobe Acrobat Reader

The Reader is needed to look at PDF files (for example our take-home notes and text-based downloads).

Video and audio

Windows Media Player

Flip4mac

Plays popular audio and video formats.

For Macs: plays .wmv and .wma files (Windows video and audio)

SWFs

Flash Player

The most popular format for interactivity and animation.
