Martin CurticeConsultant in old age psychiatry, the Hollyhill Unit, Birmingham.
 
Dr Curtice obtained a Master of Laws with Distinction in Mental Health Law in 2003. He has an interest in mental health law, human rights and the Human Rights Act 1998 and has publications in these areas. He sits on the Royal College of Psychiatrists’ Special Committee on Human Rights.

Richard Symonds MBChB FRCPsych LLM

Dr Symonds has been a full-time consultant psychiatrist in Kent for general adult and rehabilitation psychiatry. Now retired from most of the NHS (he still has a small liaison role) he is engaged as a medical member for the Tribunal Service. He has an interest in mental health law and human rights and has obtained a Master of Laws in Mental Health Law. He sits on the Special Committee for Human Rights at the Royal College of Psychiatrists.

Tim Exworthy MBBS LLM FRCPsych DFP

Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist, Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust, Kent.
 
Dr Exworthy is a consultant forensic psychiatrist at a low secure forensic unit in Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust, Kent. He is also a visiting senior lecturer in the Department of Forensic Mental Health Science at the Institute of Psychiatry. His research interests focus on the interface between mental health law, psychiatry and human rights and in 2005 he graduated with a Master of Laws, with a distinction, in mental health law. He also chairs the Special Committee on Human Rights at the Royal College of Psychiatrists.
