Involving patients and carers in trainingService user involvement is playing an ever more important role in the political and health arena. 

 

The National Health Service increasingly puts patients and carers at the centre of everything it does, and the value of their experience and expertise is being acknowledged. Accordingly, their role in education is changing.

 

This module will help you understand the role of patients and carers in educating healthcare professionals, enabling you to plan for their effective collaboration in healthcare services and training.
