Learning outcomes 

 

By the end of this module you will be able to:

 

  • classify the types of psychodermatological disorders

  • understand the interplay between emotional factors and some dermatological conditions

  • understand the clinical presentation and treatment of selected psychodermatological disorders such as:

 

  • primary hyperhidrosis

  • psoriasis

  • acne vulgaris

  • delusional parasitosis

  • trichotillomania

  • dermatitis artefacta
