Professor John Eagles

John Eagles has been a consultant in general adult psychiatry at Royal Cornhill Hospital since 1985 and is an Honorary Professor in Mental Health at the University of Aberdeen. For about 15 years, he has been undertaking clinics for patients with possible seasonal affective disorder (SAD) in conjunction with other clinical activities. He has published research in SAD, eating disorders, schizophrenia, suicide and medical education. His other interests include undergraduate teaching and recruitment of doctors into psychiatry.

Dr Allen Shand

Allen Shand is a Consultant General Adult Psychiatrist working in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire. He has a research and clinical interest in seasonal affective disorder. He has a research interest in the affective disorders and is currently involved in work on seasonal affective disorder (SAD) and on electro-convulsive therapy ( ECT).
