Guy Brookes

Consultant Psychiatrist, Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Team and Associate Medical Director for Continuing Professional Development,  Leeds PFT.

 

Dr Brookes has worked as a consultant psychiatrist in Leeds since 2002. In addition to his clinical role, he is an established member of The Andrew Sims Centre Mental Health Law training team, developing and delivering training on aspects of both the Mental Health Act 1983 and Mental Capacity Act 2005.

Nick Brindle, BSc(Hons), MB, ChB, MRCP(UK), MRCPsych

Consultant Psychiatrist, In-Patient Services (Older Peoples Services), Leeds Partnerships Foundation Trust, The Mount, Leeds.

 

Dr Brindle was appointed as a consultant in the Psychiatry of Old Age in 2002. Since 2007, he has specialised in in-patient services for older people and is also one of the team members delivering mental health law training by the Andrew Sims Centre.

Tim Branton, MMedSc, MRCPsych

Consultant Psychiatrist, In-Patient Services (Older Peoples Services), Associate Medical Director for Mental Health Legislation, Leeds Partnerships Foundation Trust, The Mount, Leeds.

 

Dr Branton trained as a GP before beginning training in psychiatry in Yorkshire. He worked as a sector Old Age Psychiatrist in South Leeds for seven years before becoming a full time in-patient consultant for older people. He is a regular contributor to mental health law training events organised by the Andrew Sims Centre.
