Dr Owen gained her Certificate of Eligibility for the
Specialist Register in Adult Psychiatry (article 14 PMETB) in July
2007. She underwent her psychiatry training at Guy's Hospital
between 1980–84 and has also graduated with
an MSc in Culture and Mental Health from University College
London in 2006.

Satha Manoharan, MBBS
(Ceylon), BCPsych (Lon), MSc

Board Certification in Psychiatry (former
Diploma in Psychological medicine-IOP), MSc in Addiction
(University of London), Vocational training in General Practice
(JCPTGP-London) and Professional certification in Management
(OUBS).
Dr Satha Manoharan has worked in the field of
psychiatry for several years and as an Associate Specialist joined
Dual Team at South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation
Trust in April 2004.
Before joining this Trust Dr Manoharan worked
in an Emergency Assessment Centre since inception (for about 6
years) and was actively involved in developing and evaluating the
service. In addition, she was involved in developing liaison
service during that period.
Dr Manoharan is currently on the GMC’s
Specialist Register and is eligible to take up a post as a
Consultant in General Adult Psychiatry. She is actively
involved in networking with SAS doctors from various Trusts,
encouraging them to progress further both personally and
professionally.
