Scientific Director, the Castang Foundation;

Associate Dean, Royal College of Psychiatrists.

 

Professor Gregory O'Brien has over one hundred papers/chapters/publications to his name, on various themes of learning disability, including being author/editor of six books. His research interests are spread over issues concerning the cause and nature of severe behavioural problems of people with learning disabilities. His current clinical work is primarily focused on extreme challenging and offending behaviour within a national tertiary referral service.

 

Professor O'Brien is Associate Dean of the Royal College of Psychiatrists, with responsibility for SAS Psychiatrists, including Chairing the Equivalence (Article 14) and SAS Committees.
